standard and custom engineered DC Power Supplies for a variety of industrial markets.

rating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Darrah offers custom engineered DC Power Supplies from 5 to 24,000 amps and in voltages from 6 to
1,000 volts. Cooling methods include: air, water or oil cooled configurations and are built to your
specifications.
Sixty percent of Darrah's manufactured power supplies are built for OEM accounts. Whereas units are
private labeled and sold as part of a system or contract. Darrah Electric is capable of taking responsibility
for all engineering, drawings, specifications and approvals.
To support manufacturing, Darrah Electric has four engineers with complete AutoCAD capabilities.
Darrah Electric designs and manufactures our own power transformers. Other capabilities include a
welding and painting department for enclosures.
Darrah assembly personnel
for manufacturing all have a minimum of two years of Electronic Technical Degrees. Assembly workers
are capable of layouts, assembly, and wiring.
Darrah manufactured products are sold and distributed worldwide by sales forces within the various
OEM accounts as well as a network of representatives in major markets in North and South America.
Water Cooled Plating Rectifiers
Darrah’s new Water Cooled Plating Rectifiers are proven to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days per week at full name plate rating. This product line was designed for Hard Chrome Plating Operations where dependable continuous operation is needed for multiple days.
Our rectifiers are engineered and designed to withstand the humid and corrosive atmosphere common in the plating environment. Component selection and part location is of great importance to ensure reliable performance.
Darrah’s Direct Water Cooled Transformers feature all copper primary and secondary windings. A high grade silicon steel is used for the lamination. Protective thermostats are located between the transformer windings. Windings are fully epoxy encapsulated for environmental barrier against contamination and condensation.

Rectifiers are available with or without RIPPLE FILTERING and built-in POLARITY REVERSING. Models are available to 35,000 Amps in a single cabinet. All standard rectifier options are available.
